Halloween coca-cola

Out-of-home advertising

Project Overview

This project is a conceptual outdoor advertising poster created for Coca-Cola’s Halloween campaign. The goal was to reimagine the iconic Coca-Cola can through a dark, playful, and slightly unsettling Halloween lens, while maintaining strong brand recognition.

Concept

The idea behind “Trick or Coke” plays on the familiar Halloween phrase “Trick or Treat”, transforming it into a bold visual statement. The Coca-Cola can becomes the central character, cracked, sharp, and almost alive, suggesting that even something familiar can turn unexpected on Halloween night. The design explores the contrast between comfort and fear, using a well-known brand element and placing it into a darker narrative.

Visual Direction

The poster features a damaged Coca-Cola can with sharp, broken edges, resembling a jack-o’-lantern smile.
Dark tones, smoke, and dramatic lighting were used to create a cinematic atmosphere, enhancing the sense of mystery and tension.

The typography is bold and minimal, allowing the slogan “Trick or Coke” to stand out while keeping the focus on the visual concept.
The composition was designed for out-of-home advertising, ensuring high contrast and strong readability from a distance.
